"Clash of the Media Titans".






Once upon a time there was a kingdom called Teebien ruled by a powerful clan.

TheGreat Grouch's The King and Queen of Teebien were beloved by their subjects, the Christaceans who would gladly lay down their lives and personal fortunes to make the King and Queen happy and to help protect the Kingdom. 
Like most kingdoms, Teebien had it's share of in-fighting among the royal siblings and this friction threatened the security of the Kingdom.
King Paulipipi became quite perplexed after learning some of his clan actually referred to him as the
'Great Grouch'.










Two of the King's sons, Prince Paulipipipi and Prince Mathreu had been fighting for years to position themselves for the future throne, and this struggle eventually led to the banishment of Prince Mathreu from the Kingdom....
But that was not the Kingdom's main problem.


TBN sued by Granddaughter KoperThe Dutchess Koopera, daughter of the eldest prince Paulipipipi, had been caught with her hand in the proverbial cookie jar. She was invited to spend some time in the cellar after it was discovered that as Gatekeeper to the Royal Treasury she had re-appropriated over one million Donas from said Royal Treasury for her personal use without informing the King.
During the Dutchess's stay down in the cellar, she was convinced via torturous means of the evil advisor to Prince Mathreu to return the money.
 But Merlin, the King's trusted advisor flew in from the land of DeeCee and informed the King that she must be punished by placing a spell on her, and with the King's permission, threw every spell and curse in the book at her.
 This greatly soured her disposition, but made the younger Prince incredibly happy.


Dutchess Koopera, the lovely granddaughter to Queen Jana, found herself having to flee the Kingdom and sought after help from the archenemy of the King, another wizard who once served as the personal confidant protector of the King's very pretty houseboy. She confides to the wizard many scandalous secrets known only to the inner circle of the royal clan.

The wizard is amazed by what he is told, and mysteriously some of this information begins to seep out into the Christaceans brains.

The clan is distraught over learning their closely held secrets are loosely held, and worry from where might their meat and drink come if the Christaceans should revolt and quit bloating their royal Treasury with tribute.
   
The Prince Mathreu said to the King, 
"Father, do you not hear your servants   



Do not concern yourself for I, your true son and heir to the throne will console and quiet the masses".
And so it was;


  the the Prince and King spoke throughout the great silver Parrot flying high in the sky, so high that the entire world could see and hear them say, "Whosoever shall come against the King and Queen of Teebien shall die!"


 This was enough to quiet most of the hearts of the Christaceans, but not so with some of the subjects.

A cry rang out from many non-Christaceans. "We call upon the great and mighty APe. Can you not hear the cries and moans of those not quieted by the Kingdom?
Can you not smell the stench of death caused by your great enemy"?
And so it was construed that the rank stench of death was meant to be a sacrifice to the great and mighty Ape, and it was pleasing unto her.


So with complete faith minus fact-checking the great Ape trumpeted throughout the world that her lies were to be true, giving power to all the media gods to tell their lies as truth.

And to gods of Ceebius, Enbeecy, Cianen and over 300 more proclaimed their lies to be truth on the authority of the great and mighty APe.


And so it was.

 For all the media gods reject the notion of doing their own fact-checking and relied solely on the great and mighty Ape to say what is truth. For she held the Scepter of Truth, which could not be questioned.



Suddenly a great shadow blocked the sun, and it was Merlin, the great wizard of Teebien on a giant silver bird swooping in from the land of DeeCee. With his trumpet in hand he blows, "to all the media of the world, you are liars, for you accept the false premise of the great and mighty APe who is not worthy to hold the Scepter of Truth, and then flies away with the scepter.


And this is where the story remains…for now. But there are still loose ends.

What will happen to the damsel Koopera?
 Is she truly evil?


What will the first-born of the King do?
Will he speak out or gather up an army?


Will the great and mighty APe recover her Scepter of Truth, or fight against the Kingdom with her media drones?


What will the Prince do next?


And what are the truth wizards up to?
